Sales & Leasing Training:

With the commercial real estate industry constantly evolving, ICR believes it is vital that its agents have adequate training to provide clients with the best possible outcome in their commercial real estate transactions.

In addition to in-depth training that each agent receives, every agent is provided with ongoing mentoring from the partners of the company. This type of training and mentorship allows new agents to learn in a classroom environment and thereafter put the principles they have learned to use under the guidance and tutelage of experienced agents.

Training Module Topics:

ICR’s goal is to develop well rounded agents who are knowledgeable in every aspect of the industry and this is highlighted within the diversity of training modules offered. ICR’s training program is constantly evolving and developing to keep pace with the commercial real estate industry.

Presently, ICR offers 12 training modules and will continue to add more in the future.  Current module topics that are covered range from Business Sales & Acquisitions, Retail/Office/Industrial Sales & Leasing to Business Presentations/Etiquette.

Property Manager

The Property Manager manages daily customer relationships with different tenants through the coordination of Financial, Maintenance and Administrative activities by representing the building owner to both tenants, unit owners and the public.

The Property Manager duty is to protect, maintain and improve the value of the owner’s real estate assets and otherwise manage the affairs of the property, owners and tenants. The Property Manager understands customer needs as well as meets the requirements for financial return on each property.

Accounting Technician

The Accounting Technician performs a variety of duties from backroom calculations to front desk customer service. Responsibilities include posting rent and condominium fees, filing and tallying deposits, coding, totaling, batching, entering, verifying and reconciling transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, purchase orders, cheques, invoices, cheque requisitions, and bank statements.

Other responsibilities include the compilation of budget data and documents based on estimated revenues, expenses and previous budgets, and the performance of related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for planning and overseeing all administrative support and office services for the company, including typical secretarial and some receptionist duties in addition to shipping and receiving, supplies and stationery, and general troubleshooting.

The Administrative Assistant will assist Property Managers in drafting letters and notices, arranging for owner/tenant meetings and informational packages. As a direct contact with owners and tenants the Administrative Assistant has very strong people and communication skills.

Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for performing and/or arranging general building, landscaping and property maintenance. The Maintenance Manager maintains equipment and coordinates the day to day operation of the maintenance department.

He/she is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, and repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Building Caretaker

The Building Caretaker typically cares for one or more residential buildings carrying out duties that would include: Building inspection; Minor interior and exterior maintenance; Cleaning/snow removal; Contractor coordination; Liaison with residents and property manager; Showing suites, conducting tenant move-in/move-outs; Non-cash rent collection, etc.

This position is flexible and is generally carried out by the Building Caretaker as such times as appropriate to the Building Caretaker.
